क्षुपदधीचिसंवादः — शिलादतपः, वरसीमा, मेघवाहनकल्पे त्रिदेवसमागमः

कोटिकोटिसहस्राणि अहर्भूतानि यानि वै समतीतानि कल्पानां तावच्छेषापरत्रये

Transliteration

koṭikoṭisahasrāṇi aharbhūtāni yāni vai samatītāni kalpānāṃ tāvaccheṣāparatraye

Translation

Countless—by crores upon crores and thousands—are the cosmic “days” that have elapsed as kalpas; and in the further triad that remains, so many yet stand to be completed. Thus the measure of time rolls on, while the Pati (Śiva), untouched by kalpa and dissolution, alone remains the unbound Lord over all paśus.
