dhyāyate jṛmbhate caiva rudate dravate namaḥ valgate krīḍate caiva lambodaraśarīriṇe
Salutations to the One embodied with a pendulous belly—who meditates, who yawns, who weeps, who melts in compassion; who leaps about and who plays. Thus is praised the Lord whose sportive freedom moves through all states, yet who remains the Pati beyond bondage.
Suta Goswami (narrating a traditional stuti within the Purana’s discourse)
