FAQs

It frames Shiva as the absolute Prabhava (Source) of time and creation, establishing the Linga as the sign of the Pati beyond all cosmic divisions—hence worthy of continuous namaskāra and worship.

Shiva is praised as the transcendent cause behind both halves of cosmic time and as the fountainhead of sacred revelation (Purāṇas), indicating Pati as both the ground of knowledge and the origin of manifestation (sarga).

Repeated “namaḥ” emphasizes japa-like salutations and stuti as a core limb of Shiva-bhakti; in a Pāśupata orientation it supports smaraṇa and mantra-centered worship directed to Pati as the liberator of the paśu from pāśa.
