Nirūpaṇa (Nāḍī–Svara-Nirūpaṇam): Breath Currents, Omens, and Action-Timing
तत्र भागे स्थितः पृच्छेत्सिद्धिर्भवति निष्फला / वामे वा दक्षिणे वापि यत्र संक्रमते शिवा
tatra bhāge sthitaḥ pṛcchetsiddhirbhavati niṣphalā / vāme vā dakṣiṇe vāpi yatra saṃkramate śivā
If one asks or begins an undertaking while positioned in that particular direction or portion, the accomplishment becomes fruitless. Whether on the left or on the right, wherever the auspicious śivā influence is seen to shift, it is so.
