FAQs

This verse links specific ailments to the stomach and the region above the navel, showing a diagnostic approach where location and origin guide understanding and treatment.

Although the Garuda Purana is famed for afterlife topics, it also preserves practical dharmic and health knowledge; here it presents a roga-nidāna style mapping of ailments to bodily sources.

Use it as a reminder to treat digestive health seriously, since many systemic symptoms (breath/cough/skin issues) are described as connected to stomach-origin imbalance.
