This verse preserves a precise succession of descendants, reflecting how Purāṇas transmit dharmic history through lineages and named progenitors.
It does not directly describe the soul’s journey; instead, it functions as a lineage record within the narrative framework of Vishnu’s instruction to Garuda.
Use it as a reminder of continuity and responsibility across generations—cultivating virtues implied by names like Akrodhana (freedom from anger).
