महादेव्याः आविर्भाव-रूपान्तर-विहारवर्णनम्

आत्मदारात्मजभ्रातृबन्धूनां च द्विजोत्तम / क्रमाद्दशगुणो दोषो रक्षणे च तथा फलम्
Transliteration
ātmadārātmajabhrātṛbandhūnāṃ ca dvijottama / kramāddaśaguṇo doṣo rakṣaṇe ca tathā phalam
Translation
O best of the twice-born: for oneself, one’s wife, one’s son, one’s brother, and one’s kin, in due order the fault becomes tenfold when protection is neglected; and in protecting them, the reward is likewise (tenfold).
