तेन दुःसहसत्त्वेन ताडिता बहुभिः शरैः / स्तंभितेवाभवत्सेना संपत्कर्याः क्षणं रणे
tena duḥsahasattvena tāḍitā bahubhiḥ śaraiḥ / staṃbhitevābhavatsenā saṃpatkaryāḥ kṣaṇaṃ raṇe
Struck by that warrior of unbearable might with many arrows, Sampatkari’s host in battle stood for a moment as though frozen, as if turned to a pillar.
