Bhaṇḍāsurāhaṅkāra
The Mustering of the Daitya Forces and the Roar of War
iti śrībrahmāṇḍamahāpurāṇe uttarabhāge hayagrīvāgastyasaṃvāde lalitopākhyāne bhaṇḍāsurāhaṅkāro nāmaikaviṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ atha śrīlalitāsenānissāṇapratinisvanaḥ / uccacālasurendrāṇāṃ yoddhato dundubhidhvaniḥ
Thus, in the Śrī Brahmāṇḍa Mahāpurāṇa, in the Uttara section, in the dialogue of Hayagrīva and Agastya, within the Lalitā narrative, begins the twenty-first chapter called “Bhaṇḍāsura’s Arrogance.” Then rose the resounding ‘sāṇa’ reverberation of Śrī Lalitā’s commanders, and the thunder of dundubhi war-drums of the Deva kings as they fought.
