Bhāgavatam Mahimā — The Glory, Measure, Transmission, and Gift of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam
भवे भवे यथा भक्ति: पादयोस्तव जायते । तथा कुरुष्व देवेश नाथस्त्वं नो यत: प्रभो ॥ २२ ॥
bhave bhave yathā bhaktiḥ pādayos tava jāyate tathā kuruṣva deveśa nāthas tvaṁ no yataḥ prabho
O Lord of lords, O Prabhu, please arrange that, life after life, bhakti may arise at Your lotus feet, for You alone are our master and shelter.
This verse prays that, in every lifetime, devotion may naturally arise for the Lord’s lotus feet—showing that the highest aspiration is continuous bhakti rather than temporary worldly gains.
They acknowledge Him as the supreme controller and protector—beyond all gods—therefore only He can grant steadfast devotion and shelter across changing births.
Regularly center your goals on devotion—through daily hearing/reading Bhāgavatam, chanting, and serving—asking not merely for relief or success, but for steady love of God in all circumstances.
