Balarāma Humbles the Kurus and Rescues Sāmba
तं ते जिघृक्षव: क्रुद्धास्तिष्ठ तिष्ठेति भाषिण: । आसाद्य धन्विनो बाणै: कर्णाग्रण्य: समाकिरन् ॥ ७ ॥
taṁ te jighṛkṣavaḥ kruddhās tiṣṭha tiṣṭheti bhāṣiṇaḥ āsādya dhanvino bāṇaiḥ karṇāgraṇyaḥ samākiran
Intent on capturing him, the enraged bowmen led by Karṇa shouted, “Stand! Stand!” Closing in, they drenched Sāmba in a shower of arrows.
