तमाह भगवान्प्रेष्ठं भक्तमेकान्तिनं क्व‍‍चित् । गृहीत्वा पाणिना पाणिं प्रपन्नार्तिहरो हरि: ॥ २ ॥

Transliteration

tam āha bhagavān preṣṭhaṁ bhaktam ekāntinaṁ kvacit gṛhītvā pāṇinā pāṇiṁ prapannārti-haro hariḥ

Translation

Once, the Supreme Lord Hari, who removes the distress of those who surrender to Him, took the hand of His dearmost, single-minded devotee Uddhava and spoke to him as follows.
