Adorned with those garlands, Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, along with Their companions, were delighted. Then the two Lords, bestowers of boons, granted the bowing, surrendered Sudāmā whatever blessings he desired.
It teaches that when a person bows down and fully takes shelter (praṇata, prapanna), Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma—naturally compassionate and boon-giving—respond by granting blessings.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī narrates that Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, pleased and adorned, granted boons to a surrendered person who offered obeisance, highlighting the Lord’s readiness to reward humility and devotion.
Cultivate humility (respectful bowing in heart and action) and sincere dependence on God (taking shelter through prayer, mantra, and dharmic living); this verse frames divine grace as a response to genuine surrender.
