Aghāsura-vadha: The Killing and Deliverance of Aghāsura

When all the demon’s life air had departed through the opening at the crown of his head, Mukunda—the Lord who grants liberation—cast His glance upon the dead calves and cowherd boys and restored them to life. Then the Supreme Lord came out from the demon’s mouth with His friends and the calves.
This verse says Mukunda revives them simply by His glance, showing His supreme, effortless divine power and protection over Vraja.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī narrates this to Mahārāja Parīkṣit while describing Kṛṣṇa’s childhood pastimes in Vraja during the demon-attack episodes.
It emphasizes trusting the Lord’s protection in fearful situations and remembering that divine grace can restore what seems lost—strengthening steadiness in bhakti during crises.
