वासः। अभि त्वा मनुजातेन दधामि मम वाससा । यथासो मम केवलो नान्यासां कीर्तयाश्चन
vā́saḥ | abhí tvā mánu-jātena dádhāmi máma vāsásā | yáthā ’só máma kévalaḥ ná ’nyāsāṃ kīrtáyāś caná ||
Garment: upon thee with a cloth, human-born, I lay my garment—so that he may be mine alone, and not of other women, not even of the famed among them.
