अनन्तं विततं पुरुत्रानन्तमन्तवच्चा समन्ते । ते नाकपालश्चरति विचिन्वन् विद्वान् भूतमुत भव्यमस्य
anantáṃ vitatáṃ purutrā́nantám ántavac cā́ samanté | té nā́kapālaś cárati vicínvan vídvān bhūtám utá bhávyam asya ||
Endless, outstretched, in many a place—endless, and yet as having end, on every side: there the Guardian of the heavenly vault goeth, discerning, wise, knowing what hath been and what shall be of it.
