व्यसनयौगपद्ये परवृद्धौ च मित्रमर्थयुक्तौ तिष्ठति ॥ कZ_०८.१.५९ ॥
Transliteration
vyasana-yaugapadye paravṛddhau ca mitram artha-yuktau tiṣṭhati
Translation
When calamities occur simultaneously, and when the adversary grows stronger, an ally remains aligned if its interests are properly secured.
