दूष्यामित्राटवीबलैर्वा भङ्गं दत्त्वा विभूमिप्राप्तं हन्यात् ॥ कZ_१०.३.०४ ॥
dūṣyāmitrāṭavībalair vā bhaṅgaṃ dattvā vibhūmiprāptaṃ hanyāt
Or, using suborned enemies and forest forces, he should first cause the enemy to break/disperse and, once it has been drawn onto unfavorable ground, destroy it.
Use proxies/irregulars to disrupt cohesion (bhaṅga), maneuver the enemy onto disadvantageous ground (vibhūmi), then deliver decisive destruction (hanyāt).
