तस्यापसारप्रतिसंधाने शुद्धः स्यात् अन्यथा कर्मप्राप्तः ॥ कZ_०४.८.०४ ॥

Transliteration

tasyāpasāra-pratisaṃdhāne śuddhaḥ syāt anyathā karma-prāptaḥ

Translation

If his account withstands scrutiny and aligns in tracing the removal and its linkage (i.e., the chain of events), he should be deemed cleared; otherwise, he becomes liable to punishment.
