yaṃ vā mantrayogamūlakarmabhiḥ śmāśānikair vā saṃvadanakarakaṃ manyeta taṃ sattrī brūyāt: amuṣya bhāryāṃ snuṣāṃ duhitaraṃ vā kāmaye; sā māṃ pratikāmayatām; ayaṃ cārthaḥ pratigṛhyatām iti
Whomever one suspects to be an arranger of secret communications/liaisons—through mantra-based operations or through cremation-ground practitioners—an agent (sattrī) should tell him: “I desire that man’s wife, daughter-in-law, or daughter; let her desire me in return; and let this payment be accepted.”
It functions as a trap to expose a broker who facilitates illicit access or manipulation; acceptance of the proposal and payment supplies actionable proof of criminal service-provision.
