कार्यस्यान्यथाकरणे वेतननाशस्तद्द्विगुणश्च दण्डः ॥ कZ_०४.१.०७ ॥

Transliteration

kāryasyānyathākaraṇe vetananāśas taddviguṇaś ca daṇḍaḥ

Translation

If the work is done otherwise than prescribed (defectively or contrary to instruction), the wage is forfeited and a fine twice that (wage) is imposed.
