गोमहिषमजाविकं खरोष्त्रमश्वाश्वतरं च व्रजः ॥ कZ_०२.६.०७ ॥
gomahiṣamajāvikaṃ kharoṣtramaśvāśvataraṃ ca vrajaḥ
The state herds (vraja) consist of: cattle, buffaloes, goats and sheep, donkeys and camels, and horses and mules.
They are productive and strategic assets—yielding dairy, wool, transport capacity, and military mobility—managed as state property with measurable returns.
