द्वादशपणममुद्रो जानपदो दद्यात् ॥ कZ_०२.३४.०३ ॥

dvādaśapaṇam amudro jānapado dadyāt

An inland resident (non-maritime traveller) should pay twelve paṇas for a pass (i.e., when issued without the ‘samudra’ category).
