असमरप्रयोग्याः पौरजानपदानामर्थेन वृषा वडवास्वायोज्याः ॥ कZ_०२.३०.२८ ॥

Transliteration

asamaraprayogyāḥ paurajānapadānām arthena vṛṣā vaḍavāsv āyojyāḥ

Translation

Animals not fit for battlefield use shall be assigned as studs for mares, financed from the resources of townsmen and countryside communities (i.e., supported through local funds/levies).
