शौम्ब्यानामर्धं सारः त्रिभागोनो मसूराणाम् ॥ कZ_०२.१५.३१ ॥

Transliteration

śaumbyānām ardhaṃ sāraḥ tri-bhāga-ono masūrāṇām

Translation

For śaumbyas, the usable kernel (sāra) is one-half; for lentils (masūra), it is one-third less.
