सामवायिकानामनिर्बन्धगामित्वात्पुरोगः इति ॥ कZ_०९.४.२३ ॥
Transliteration
sāmavāyikānām anirbandhagāmitvāt purogaḥ iti
Translation
In the case of collective undertakings (sāmavāyika), because they tend to proceed without firm binding (discipline/commitment), one should go in front—i.e., take the lead (puroga).
