अतिदुर्गप्रतिष्टब्धं वा सामन्ताटविकतत्कुलीनापरुद्धानामन्यतमेनावग्राहयेत् ॥ कZ_०९.३.२४ ॥
Transliteration
atidurgapratiṣṭabdhaṃ vā sāmantāṭavikatatkulīnāparuddhānām anyatamenāvagrāhayet
Translation
Or, if (the hostile element) is entrenched in a very strong fortification, he should contain it through any one among: neighboring feudatories (sāmanta), forest groups (āṭavika), those of the same lineage/clan (tatkulīna), or detained/hostage persons (aparuddha).
