Worship of Vishnu through Varṇa-dharma
Sage Parāśara (teaching within the Parāśara–Maitreya dialogue; the vocative 'rājendra' evokes the archetypal royal addressee used in Purāṇic instruction)

This verse presents Vishnu (Acyuta) as the dependable sovereign of karmic outcomes: sincere worship connects the devotee to the Lord who can bestow the sought result, whether worldly or higher.
Parāśara frames worship as efficacious and proportionate to intention—whatever fruit is intended, that fruit is obtained—highlighting Vishnu’s lordship over both abundance and limitation.
Vishnu is portrayed as the supreme, unfailing reality (Acyuta) whose grace governs attainment; devotion is not merely ritual but a relationship to the ultimate source of all results.
