Transliteration

te 'saṃprayogāl lobhasya maithunasya ca varjanāt icchādveṣāpravṛttyā ca bhūtārambhavivarjanāt

Translation

Weil sie sich nicht mit Gier verbinden und den Geschlechtsgenuss entsagen; weil sie Begehren und Abneigung nicht in Bewegung setzen; und weil sie keine neuen, verkörperten Unternehmungen beginnen—so schneiden sie den Ansatz der Fesselung ab und schreiten zur Befreiung.
