भृगुं पुलस्त्यं पुलहं क्रतुम् अङ्गिरसं तथा मरीचिं दक्षम् अत्रिं च वसिष्ठं चैव मानसान्

Transliteration

bhṛguṃ pulastyaṃ pulahaṃ kratum aṅgirasaṃ tathā marīciṃ dakṣam atriṃ ca vasiṣṭhaṃ caiva mānasān

Translation

Bhrigu, Pulastya, Pulaha, Kratu und Angiras; ebenso Marici, Daksha, Atri und Vasishtha—dies waren die geistgeborenen Prajapatis, hervorgebracht, um nach Vishnus höchstem Gebot die geordnete Entfaltung der Schöpfung zu begründen.
