Varāha, the Raising of the Earth and the Recommencement of Creation
Sage Parāśara (teaching Maitreya; theological exposition on the Supreme Lord)
This verse teaches that the spiritually wise perceive the cosmos as rooted in consciousness and thus recognize it as inseparable from Vishnu’s own reality, not as something independent of Him.
Parāśara links true knowledge with inner purification: when the mind is cleansed, perception shifts from mere material appearances to a direct recognition of the world as pervaded by the Supreme Lord.
Vishnu is presented as Parameśvara whose form encompasses the whole universe—affirming His absolute sovereignty and the doctrine that all existence is sustained and revealed through Him.
