वृथाटनं था दानं वृथा च पशुमारणम् न कर्त्तव्यं गृहस्थेन वृता दारपरिग्रहम्
vṛthāṭanaṃ thā dānaṃ vṛthā ca paśumāraṇam na karttavyaṃ gṛhasthena vṛtā dāraparigraham
Ein Hausvater soll nicht ziellos umherstreifen, nicht sinnlos spenden und keine Tiere ohne Grund töten. Ebenso soll er nicht leichtfertig eine Frau nehmen und ohne Besonnenheit in das Hausleben eintreten.
