देवदेव उवाच तस्यां तपत्यां नरसत्तमेन जातः सुतः पार्थिवलक्षणस्तु स जातकर्मादिभिरेव संस्कृतो विवर्द्धताज्येन हुतो यथाग्निः
devadeva uvāca tasyāṃ tapatyāṃ narasattamena jātaḥ sutaḥ pārthivalakṣaṇastu sa jātakarmādibhireva saṃskṛto vivarddhatājyena huto yathāgniḥ
Devadeva sprach: In jener Tapatī wurde vom besten der Menschen ein Sohn geboren, der die Kennzeichen eines Königs trug. Er wurde ordnungsgemäß durch die Saṃskāras, beginnend mit dem jāta-karma, geweiht; und er wuchs heran wie Feuer, das mit zunehmend viel Ghee genährt wird.
