दण्डपाणिं सुदुर्दृश्यं लोकैर्व्याप्तं समन्ततः दण्डसंस्थास्य दृश्यन्ते देवप्रहरणास्तथा

Transliteration

daṇḍapāṇiṃ sudurdṛśyaṃ lokairvyāptaṃ samantataḥ daṇḍasaṃsthāsya dṛśyante devapraharaṇāstathā

Translation

Sie erblickten den Herrn, der den Stab (daṇḍa) in seiner Hand hielt—eine ehrfurchtgebietende, schwer zu ertragende Schau—, der die Welten ringsum durchdrang; und um diese stabgleiche Manifestation erschienen auch die göttlichen Waffen.
