Mantra 43
द्यां मा ले॑खीर॒न्तरि॑क्षं॒ मा हि॑ᳪसीः पृथि॒व्या सम्भ॑व । अ॒यᳪ हि त्वा॒ स्वधि॑ति॒स्तेति॑जानः प्रणि॒नाय॑ मह॒ते सौ॑भगाय । अत॒स्त्वं दे॑व वनस्पते श॒तव॑ल्शो॒ वि रो॑ह स॒हस्र॑वल्शा॒ वि व॒यᳪ रु॑हेम
dyā́ṃ mā́ lekhīr antárikṣaṃ mā́ hiṃsīḥ pṛthivyā́ḥ sámbhava | ayáṃ hí tvā svádhitiḥ téti-jānaḥ prá nināya maháte sáubhagāya | atáḥ tvaṃ deva vanaspate śatá-valśo ví roha sahásra-valśā ví vayáṃ ruhema
Do not thou scar the sky; do not injure the mid-air: from the earth be thou produced. For this axe, knowing thee, hath led thee forth for great good fortune. Therefore, O divine Lord of the Forest, grow thou again with a hundred shoots, grow thou again with a thousand shoots; and may we grow forth (in prosperity).
