नमस्तुभ्यं भगवते बंधवे विश्वयोनये । सहिष्णवे सर्वदोषाणां शंभवे शैलधन्वने
namastubhyaṃ bhagavate baṃdhave viśvayonaye | sahiṣṇave sarvadoṣāṇāṃ śaṃbhave śailadhanvane
Ehrerbietung Dir, dem erhabenen Bhagavān — unserem Verwandten und Zufluchtsort, Schoß und Ursprung des Alls; dem Duldsamen, der alle Fehler erträgt; Śambhu, dem Glückverheißenden, der alle Makel tilgt; dem Bogenschützen mit dem Berg als Waffe, dessen Bogen die standhafte Kraft des Dharma ist.

Use this as a namaskāra-mantra before Linga pūjā, then do japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with a devotional attitude, seeking purification from doṣas and steadiness in dharma.
