श्रुतं करोति शुश्रूषा कायेन मनसा गिरा । उक्तं यद्गुरुणा पूर्वं शक्यं वाऽशक्यमेव वा

Transliteration

śrutaṃ karoti śuśrūṣā kāyena manasā girā | uktaṃ yadguruṇā pūrvaṃ śakyaṃ vā'śakyameva vā

Translation

Er macht das Gehörte und Gelernte durch hingebungsvollen Dienst wirklich — mit Körper, Geist und Wort. Was immer der Guru zuvor angewiesen hat, ob es möglich scheint oder gar unmöglich, das übernimmt er als heilige Pflicht.
