Praṇava-Māhātmya and the Twofold Mantra (Sūkṣma–Sthūla) in Śaiva Sādhanā

तावद्वै शिवसान्निध्यं तस्मिन्देहे न संशयः । देवीलिंगं भवेद्रू पं शिवभक्तस्त्रियास्तथा

tāvadvai śivasānnidhyaṃ tasmindehe na saṃśayaḥ | devīliṃgaṃ bhavedrū paṃ śivabhaktastriyāstathā

Solange jener Zustand währt, ist—ohne jeden Zweifel—in eben diesem Leib die unmittelbare Gegenwart Śivas. Ebenso wird im Falle einer Frau, die Śiva ergeben ist, ihre Gestalt mit dem Zeichen der Göttin (Devī-liṅga) gekennzeichnet.
