Der Ṛgveda sprach: „Das, worin alle Wesen wohnen, woraus das ganze All hervorgeht und was die Weisen als höchste Wirklichkeit verkünden—Er allein ist Rudra, wahrlich der Eine.“
Ṛgveda (personified Veda praising Rudra)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
Mantra: यदन्तस्स्थानि भूतानि यतस्सर्व्वम्प्रवर्त्तते । यदाहुः परमन्तत्त्वं स रुद्रस्त्वेक एव हि
Type: stotra
Role: creative
It identifies Rudra (Śiva) as the one supreme tattva—both the inner support of all beings and the source from which the cosmos functions—guiding the seeker to single-pointed devotion and realization of Pati, the Highest.
Though Rudra is declared the supreme Reality (parama-tattva), devotees approach Him through Saguna forms—especially the Śiva-liṅga—as a concrete focus for worship that leads the mind toward the One who pervades all within.
Meditate on Rudra as the indwelling Lord (antar-yāmin) while repeating the Pañcākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and perform liṅga-pūjā with bhakti, aligning the mind to the one source from which all arises.
