Nandikeśvara: Incarnation, Consecration, and Marriage—Description
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
It highlights Śiva as paramārtihā—the remover of deep existential suffering—showing that liberation begins with the Lord’s compassionate grace, not merely personal effort.
The verse emphasizes Saguna Śiva’s approachable, personal grace: the Lord physically “touches” and “draws close,” mirroring how devotees approach Śiva through the Linga and receive His protecting presence.
Meditate on Śiva as Vṛṣabhadhvaja and paramārtihā while repeating the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), visualizing the Lord drawing you out of sorrow into His shelter.
