Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Sthala Purana: No Jyotirliṅga linkage; the verse localizes the story in Ekacakra and emphasizes sustenance and upbringing as dhārmic preservation.
Significance: The ‘ramya grāma’ setting underscores that dharma and Śiva’s grace unfold within ordinary life; feeding and raising children is treated as sacred stewardship.
Shakti Form: Annapūrṇā
Role: nurturing
Offering: naivedya
It highlights dharmic guardianship and selfless nurturing (seva) as a supportive ground for bhakti—showing that even ordinary household duties, when done righteously, become aligned with Shiva’s order (dharma) and help beings mature toward higher spiritual aims.
Though the verse is narrative, it reflects Saguna Shiva’s ethic of protection and sustenance in the world—devotion is not only ritual at the Linga but also expressed through compassionate care that upholds life and dharma.
No specific ritual is prescribed in this line; the practical takeaway is to sanctify daily duties with remembrance of Shiva—mentally repeating the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) while performing service and caregiving.
