In eben diesem Augenblick kam der Hausherr herbei; der Weise, von Liebe erfüllt, vollzog die Verehrung des Herrn der Asketen (Śiva).

It highlights that sincere love (prema) and reverent worship offered by a householder can be spiritually potent, honoring Śiva as Yatīśa—the inner Lord who uplifts devotees toward grace and liberation.
By calling Śiva “Yatīśa,” the verse points to Saguna worship—approaching the transcendent Lord through a personal, worship-worthy form, commonly expressed in the Shiva Purana through Liṅga-pūjā and devotional service.
The takeaway is loving Shiva-pūjā: offer respectful hospitality and worship with devotion—optionally accompanied by Panchākṣarī japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") and traditional Shaiva marks like bhasma (Tripuṇḍra) where appropriate.
