Darauf sprach Nabho-girā zu Suvarcāntā, der Geliebten der Munis; auf Geheiß Girīśas (des Herrn Śiva) tröstete sie sie und wurde zur Spenderin des Trostes.
Suta Goswami (narrator of the Purana)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Role: teaching
It highlights Śiva’s anugraha (grace) working through agents: by Girīśa’s prompting, consolation arises, showing that divine compassion removes fear and stabilizes the mind on the path of devotion.
Girīśa is invoked as the personal Lord who actively guides and protects devotees. Saguna Śiva worship (including Linga worship) emphasizes this accessible grace—Śiva inspiring right action, reassurance, and inner peace.
A practical takeaway is japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) for calming and reassurance, paired with a compassionate resolve (śiva-bhāva) to console others as an offering to Śiva.
