Seine Gemahlin war eine überaus glückbegnadete Frau, berühmt unter dem Namen Suvarcā. Als heilige, höchst keusche pativratā war sie es, die sogar die Bewohner des Himmels verfluchte.

The verse highlights the Shaiva idea that inner purity, dharma, and steadfast devotion generate spiritual potency (śakti) capable of influencing even celestial beings, showing that moral-spiritual authority can surpass worldly rank.
By praising a sādhvī’s unwavering dharma, the text implicitly points to Saguna Shiva as the upholder of ṛta (cosmic order): devotion and righteous conduct are presented as the lived foundation that makes Shiva-worship fruitful and transformative.
The practical takeaway is niyama and steadfast vrata: maintain purity of conduct, truthfulness, and daily devotion—such as japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with disciplined living—so worship becomes empowered by character.
