दुर्वाससः तपः-प्रभावः तथा देवाः ब्रह्म-विष्ण्वोः शरणागमनम् | Durvāsā’s Tapas and the Devas’ Appeal to Brahmā and Viṣṇu

दुर्वासा उवाच । मां निमन्त्र्य नृपाभोज्य जलं पीतन्त्वयाधम । दर्शयामि फलं तस्य दुष्टदण्डधरो ह्यहम्

durvāsā uvāca | māṃ nimantrya nṛpābhojya jalaṃ pītantvayādhama | darśayāmi phalaṃ tasya duṣṭadaṇḍadharo hyaham

Durvāsā sprach: «Du Niederträchtiger! Nachdem du mich eingeladen hast, hast du das Wasser getrunken, das für die königliche Darbringung bestimmt war. Nun werde ich dir die Folge dieser Tat zeigen—denn ich bin wahrlich der Träger der Strafe für die Bösen.»
