वीरभद्र-भैरव-आह्वानम् — Invocation of Vīrabhadra/Bhairava for Cosmic Reabsorption

बालेन्दुवलया कारतीक्ष्णदंष्ट्रांकुरद्वयः । आखण्डलधनुःखण्डसंनिभभ्रूलतान्वितः

bālenduvalayā kāratīkṣṇadaṃṣṭrāṃkuradvayaḥ | ākhaṇḍaladhanuḥkhaṇḍasaṃnibhabhrūlatānvitaḥ

Er trägt Schmuck in Gestalt der Mondsichel; aus seinem Mund ragen zwei hervorbrechende Fangzähne, scharf wie eine Säge. Seine gebogenen Brauen gleichen dem abgebrochenen Stück von Indras Bogen — ein Zeichen seiner furchtgebietenden saguṇa‑Erscheinung, die Unreinheit bezwingt und die Verehrer schützt.
