Sūta sprach: Nachdem er so gesprochen hatte, ging jener vortreffliche Brāhmaṇa an einen Ort. Dann erhob sich der Sohn dort und ließ sogleich das Kalb frei.

It highlights the unfolding of karma and dharma in a sacred narrative setting: after instruction is given, action follows immediately—symbolizing that right counsel should culminate in timely, disciplined conduct, which supports devotion to Pati (Śiva) and the path toward liberation.
Though the verse is narrative, it sits within the Koṭirudrasaṃhitā’s pilgrimage-oriented flow where events lead devotees toward sacred places and Śiva’s saguna manifestations (Jyotirliṅgas). The emphasis is on lived dharma that ripens into bhakti, which is central to liṅga-worship.
No explicit rite is prescribed in this verse; the takeaway is prompt, disciplined follow-through after receiving sacred instruction—best paired with steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and regular Śiva-pūjā as one’s daily practice.
