Brāhmaṇī-Svargati-Varṇana: Account of a Brāhmaṇa Woman’s Ascent to Heaven

It teaches vairagya and dharmic resolve: grief should be consciously relinquished, and one should live with auspicious, sattvic conduct aimed at higher welfare—ultimately aligning the soul toward Shiva’s grace and liberation.
In Kotirudra narratives, right conduct supports fruitful pilgrimage and Linga-worship: devotion to Saguna Shiva is strengthened when the devotee abandons despair and lives in auspicious discipline, making worship a means toward higher worlds and moksha.
The verse implies adopting auspicious Shaiva conduct—steady bhakti, japa of Shiva’s names (such as the Panchakshara), and disciplined living; it does not explicitly mention bhasma or rudraksha in this line.
