Anasūyā–Atri Tapas-Varṇana

Description of Anasūyā and Atri’s Austerities

देवाश्च ऋषयश्चैव गंगाद्यास्सरितस्तथा । दर्शनार्थं तयोः सर्वाः परे प्रीत्या समाययुः

devāśca ṛṣayaścaiva gaṃgādyāssaritastathā | darśanārthaṃ tayoḥ sarvāḥ pare prītyā samāyayuḥ

Die Devas und die ṛṣi-Weisen, ebenso die Flüsse, allen voran die Gaṅgā—alle, von höchster Freude erfüllt—kamen zusammen, um jene beiden Göttlichen zu schauen.
