Nāgeśa-jyotirliṅga-prādurbhāvaḥ — The Manifestation of the Nāgeśa Jyotirliṅga
Suta Goswami

It states that steadfastness in the true path is inseparable from Śiva-pūjā, and that Śaiva dharma is outwardly and inwardly marked by devotion expressed through bhasma (Tripuṇḍra) and Rudrākṣa—signs of surrender to Pati (Śiva) and purification of the pashu (bound soul).
Śiva-pūjā here is primarily the practical worship of Saguna Śiva—most commonly through the Śiva-liṅga with offerings and mantra—supported by Śaiva identifiers (bhasma and Rudrākṣa) that keep the devotee aligned with the Liṅga-centered discipline taught in the Purāṇa.
Maintain regular Śiva-pūjā and adopt Śaiva observances: apply sacred ash as Tripuṇḍra and wear Rudrākṣa as devotional aids, ideally alongside japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya).
